Awareness is the first step to healthy decision making. ORCS provides several opportunities for students to think critically about the impact they have on campus.
AlcoholEdu | This interactive online workshop allows students to better understand the choice to consume alcohol and its effects on their physical, emotional and social health. This is a required course for all incoming students. Invitations to access the course via email are sent in early August.
旁观者培训 | ORCS provides a number of bystander intervention opportunities in the areas of individual decision making, alcohol consumption and relationship violence. All first-year students attend mandatory bystander intervention and 性ual assault awareness workshops as part of Welcome Week, but bystander training can be provided online or in person to any campus community member. 联系 the ORCS office for more information.
Sexual Assault Awareness Month |每年四月, ORCS hosts a variety of events related to 性ual assault and relationship violence awareness. Check your April A-Mail for a lineup of events.
